Farm Day Camp for Summer, Intersession, or Trackout!

Come join us, the goats, the sheep, the horses, the ducks, and all the other animals for an awesome Farm Day Camp!

Every Week we will be:

Playing with and caring for all the farm animals.
Exploring the woods near Falls Lake.
Getting wading time at the lake (weather and temp permitting) and possibily practicing our fishing skills.
Playing games.
Doing arts and crafts, and so much more!!!

Our counselor to camper ratio is at most 1:10 (but often smaller). We also have junior counselors each week of camp.

Please Note: We are no longer doing specific themed weeks. We prefer our activities to be free to adapt to the interests of the kids attending rather than be constrained by a theme. This means all weeks will be camper directed and can include some of the following activities: animal training, goat yoga and meditation, survival skills, creative design, story telling, farm projects, and gardening possibilities in addition to all of our nature and animal exploration options.

We can add additional weeks, if you don't see a week you want let us know and we will try to add it if there is enough interest.

When:

We offer week long (and single day) camps all summer from June till the end of August. Then multiple weeks during the school year for those in trackout, intercession, or just traditional calendars who have time off.

Time:

M-F 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Early Drop off and late pick up available for small fee.

Cost:

$160 per week.

$15 discount per child for multi-child families (please email us for payment options. DON'T purchase through Eventbrite if you want the discount)

Early Drop off and late pick up:

Early Drop off: starts at 7:30 am ($4 per day or $15 for the week).
Late Pick up: ends at 6:00 pm ($6 per day or $20 for the week).

**If you need a payment plan to help with the cost we are happy to work out a bimonthly or once a month schedule with you to get you caught up before your week of camp. Just email us at camp@huxfamilyfarm.com

Friend Referral Discount:

If you and a friend both want to sign up for camp, have both families shoot us an email letting us know about the referral to our camp and we will give you both a $15 discount on your camp ticket! (please email us for payment options. DON'T purchase through Eventbrite if you want the discount)

Ages:

Campers: 7-13 years old (may accept 5-6 year olds that enjoy playing outside all day long!)
Got a 14-17 year old? They can be a junior counselor, or if you get a small group together (at least 5 kids) we will run a special camp group just for them in the week(s) of your choice for just $100 each for a week, or $25 each for a day! (send us an email at huxfamilyfarm@gmail.com if interested).
Junior Counselors: Must be ages 14-17 to apply. Attend for free in exchange for assisting the counselors and helping with our campers. Great for resumes, volunteer hours, and good work experience. Best for graduating campers, but some newbies can be trained.

Refund Policy:

A $50 per week per child deposit is required and will apply toward your camp cost if you don't pay the full cost up front. (this can be arranged by emailing camp@huxfamilyfarm.com)

$20 of that deposit is non-refundable. $30 is refundable up until 6 weeks before your camp week or until that week is full (we will notify you). If you pay the full camp cost up front, and plans change before 6 weeks before camp all will be refundable except the $20.

The full camp cost is due by 6 weeks before your camp week unless alternate payment arrangements have been made. If you are signing up after the 6 weeks mark we will ask for the full amount up front, but may still be able to make paymanet arrangements on a case by case basis.

Note: Once a camp week is full we will reach out to ask all those who have only made deposits, to either pay the remaining balance, or make payment arrangements to pay the remaining balance.

A month prior to each camp week, the full cost becomes non-refundable except in the case of extreme circumstances such as hospitalization, etc. We can also try to fill your spot from any waitlists, then potentially get you a refund.
